• EARTH DAY 2018

At Valvoline, we are passionate about reducing our environmental impact, preserving the world’s natural resources and enhancing the quality of life within our communities. In celebration of Earth Day 2018, our employees participated in cleanup and other environmental stewardship activities while our company made donations to support the work of EarthShare and Global Impact.

Scroll through to see how we celebrated Earth Day at our various company locations.

  • AMBERNATH, INDIA

Valvoline Lubricant Solutions employees commemorated Earth Day by creating a Valvoline Garden Plantation. They shared in the celebration by inviting neighbors to plant a tree. With a theme of “Create the Best out of Waste,” Valvoline Business Solutions employees prepared pots and planted plants.

  • WETHERILL PARK, NSW AUSTRALIA

Wetherill Park employees at both the plant and head office collected the disposable cups and lids they used for a three-week period. Earth Day project coordinators then built a “sculpture” from what would ordinarily have been refuse – in an effort to influence thinking and behavior toward waste-generation.

  • LOUISVILLE, KY USA

Our Valvoline Instant Oil Change Louisville Market employees observed Earth Day by beautifying Louisville’s Beckley Creek Park in the Parklands. Volunteers spent the day laying sod, weeding, transplanting trees and enhancing walkways.

  • CINCINNATI, OHIO USA

Our Cincinnati plant employees demonstrated the Earth Day spirit by volunteering to pick up refuse along the main road and train tracks in front of the packaging plant. Each volunteer gathered a bagful of trash.
